SAP Australian User Group
The SAP Australian User Group is a “Not for Profit” organisation whose mission is encourage the exchange of knowledge, ideas and experience between members/members organisations.

Who are SAUG?
The SAUG is run by a Committee of 9 volunteers and such sub Committees as deemed necessary to help the group achieve it's objectives.

SIGs
SAUG's Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are determined by popular demand and are run by volunteers from their membership base with the assistance of SAP Group Leads. SIG groups meet to share best practice, learn new ways to utilise their investment in SAP and also act as an influence group in creating a single voice to SAP. Currently there are over 20 SIGs actively running.

Membership
Membership categories include all SAP ERP customers, Business One customers, Software and Service providers and individuals. Each category of member may attend events, access on-line resources and become an integral part of the SAUG Community.

SAUG Education
SAUG hold a number of events and meetings throughout the year in various cities. Currently they hold two Plenaries attracting about 200 – 350 attendees, a Forum which is held in Canberra for Public Sector members, one larger event and an Annual Summit, attracting 650+.

Live educational Web casts are held on specific topics and stored on the SAUG web site with past presentations. Members may use the SAUG website facilities to search for other members, view the library of over 700 presentations, papers and webcasts and keep up to date with activities.

 

SAP Developer Network
The SAP Developer Network provides topical information about SAP NetWeaver and its components, composite applications, and general technology as it relates to SAP, such as Java, web services, open source platforms, and scripting languages.

SUGEN
The SAUG has elected to become part of the “SAP User Group Executive Network” which consists of 12 Countries banded together to represent SAP users globally. This group focuses on the product influence model, benchmarking between user groups plus programmes and work groups around current issues and interests.
