Julian Phillips - Gallagher Group Ltd

Originally based in the UK, Julian moved to New Zealand in 2001, firstly remote working for Roto-Frank, a German based multi-national, then as the I.T. Manager for New Zealand based company Click-Clack based in Palmerston North. Julian's career started in IT from the grand age of 16 dabbling with computers before moving into employment as a machine code programmer. In the early 90's Julian moved into I.T. management and has lived in that role ever since.

Today Julian is the Group Information Services Executive for the Gallagher Group based in Hamilton.  Commencing this role in 2005 Julian has been instrumental in advancing the Gallagher Groups IT services, especially around SAP capabilities.  The Gallagher Group now supports and impressive array of internal capability ranging from System architecture, configuration and development skills.  Today the Gallagher group operate with ECC6.0 PI, SCM, SAP Portal, Solution Manager and BPC.

Julian’s hobbies include snooker, cycling, fishing and basketball with his son Brandon.  His real passion though is diving!  Whenever the opportunity arises you will find him lurking beneath the waves somewhere hunting for crayfish!
